National Science Foundation Energy Smart Electronic Systems (ES2) Centre inaugurated at VIT Pune, in Collaboration with Binghamton University of New York

  • Wednesday 17th February was a red-letter day in the history of Pune, known as Oxford of the East. On this day, leadership team from the renowned Binghamton University (State University of New York) flew down specially to Pune to inaugurate the International Site of the National Science Foundation Center for Energy Smart Electronic Systems (ES2) Centre at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) in collaboration Binghamton University.

  • Vishwakarma Institute of Technology is the FIRST AND ONLY INTERNATIONAL SITE OUTSIDE THE USA UNDER THE FRAMEWORK OF THE INDUSTRY/UNIVESITY COOPERATIE RESEARCH CENTER.

  • This Center is based in the Mechanical Engineering Department is being developed for last three years.

 

The center is inaugurated by Vice President Sammakia, Dean Hari Srihari inaugurated and the delegates from Binghamton the along with Bharat Agarwal (Managing Trustee); B.B. Lohiya (Vice Chairman); Prof. Rajesh Jalnekar (Director, VIT Pune), Prof. Siddharth Jabade (Dean Alumni & International Relations, VIT, Pune); Prof Manasi Patwardhan (Dean Research and Development). The member companies delegates of the center were present:
