Chemical engineering department organized alumni meet of chemical engineering graduates from VIT from 2003 to 2013.
Total of 45 alumni from various batches attended the event. Many of the alumni guided upon the career prospects for chemical engineers in existing and new fields. Few alumni talked encouraging speeches on entrepreneurial establishments for chemical engineers.
Few interactive sessions took place in the course of time and event was concluded with the entertainment show followed by lunch
Department of Instrumentation Engineering organized alumni meet on 12th April, 2014, which facilitated a warm interaction between the alumni, current students and faculty of the department.
Alumni meet was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. S.S.Sundararajan Co-founder and Director of “Ayushman health care Pvt. Ltd." Mr. Narendra Bari Alumni of the 1st batch from Honeywell Pune and Prof. P. M. Kanjalkar Head of Department were present on the dais.
The occasion was graced by more than 50 alumni and their family members ranging across various batches. Speaking on the occasion, honourable chief guest highlighted the power of knowledge and social awareness for the socio-economic growth of individuals and peers inspired the gathering in true sense.

In a major initiative to build association –industry academia collaboration, ALUCAST and Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune jointly organized an awareness program on “Current State of Aluminium Die Casting Process, Applications and Simulation & Career Opportunities” for students and faculty members on 15th January 2014
Alumni and various prominent people in niche area participated as a guest speakers to elaborate the idea.

Chemical Engineering Department organized alumni meet in the month of January 2012. Response from the alumni was overwhelming and almost people from all batches attended the event. It was awesome interaction that took place between current students and alumni. Alumni from senior batches guided the students on career prospects, the skills and qualities required for the employability, importance of curriculum for sustainable positions in the industry, various career avenues, etc
Many of alumni promised future guidance and help for jobs, final year project, internships and financial support for college events
Total of 50 + alumni attended the event making it grand success.
