My choice to join VIT to pursue Chemical Engineering ended up being a wonderful and serendipitous one. The exposure to top-notch Engineering education in VIT is unparalleled by the virtue of excellent faculty and professional learning environment. I had a rough path dealing with my academics, and it was counterintuitive to think that everything will be smooth. But, thanks to my amazing teachers and friends who never rejected me. Today, I have a successful career as a Nano-photovoltaic researcher. However, at VIT, undoubtedly, it was my best chance to grow as a person, to find myself in society, and finally to change the world for the better.
My improbable journey filled with staggering experiences started with my fortuitous selection for the exchange program in HOF. This was only possible because of proficient faculty of VIT. During my time in HOF along with an excellent study program in Business and management related subjects, I was fortunate enough to attend the Hannover Messe (Make in India), Secure an internship with an assured placement offer in a prominent German Industry and obviously had an amazing experience travelling through the beautiful cities of Europe. I will always cherish this time of my life which has transfigured my future.
Student exchange semester at Hoch-schule HOF Germany was one of the most memorable experiences of my student life at VIT. It was a semester filled with international curriculum, intercultural experiences and getting acquainted with the world class practices of little things in our daily life. Semester abroad not only has broadened my horizons but also helped me determine my career goals suitably. I would like to thank AIR cell to have provided me with such a golden opportunity and for all much needed assistance to complete it successfully.
My experience at Hoch-schule HOF Germany can be summed up in word “ Wunderbar”! in those 6 months learning was a whole different concept. Thanks to my talented faculty for their immense use of audio and visual methods, which made my understanding of the subjects much easier. One research paper, two concept papers and an entire new approach to studies, is what I have taken back home with me. I can also happily say that my German language has improved manifolds. Friendly and helpful people, efficient public transport, beautiful architecture, and soothing weather, that’s what is Deutschland all about!
